We had the most romantic weekend away. The traditional, effortless style, comfortable and clean rooms gave us an elegant country house feel. The charming location gave us easy access to nearby woods for cycling and breath-taking views. We enjoyed the exceptional dinner with lobster and crab as the first course. The fine dining restaurant is a must-visit even if you are not staying.
The breakfast room could have been warmer with more centralized displays. , we wished the staff could help us with our luggage down from the top floor.

the deep armchairs in the bar area gave it the feel of an old gentleman's club, and the extensive grounds surrounding the property were beautiful. the guest room was cozy and elegant, complete with soft furnishings and a modern bathroom. the on-site restaurant was fantastic, offering a complete dinner menu and a selection of over 40 single-malt whiskeys.
A small fitness room would be a welcome addition to this otherwise excellent hotel.

The hotel offered beautiful views of the surroundings. We enjoyed a lovely walk around the ornamental lake located nearby. the bar area had a great ambiance with comfortable armchairs and a wide selection of single-malt whiskeys. It was a key location for our city trip.
The hotel lacked attention to detail. the room was outdated, noisy, and uncomfortable.
